Zorsah is an independent Ukrainian artist who creates abstract works centering on the theme of space that seek a sense of harmony and weightlessness. Painting was his passion from the early years of his life. He found his own painting technique, the art language that is able to show his essence and his desires to the whole world.
He was born in a small town in the eastern part of Ukraine on November 5, 1962, by the way Zorsah has a twin sister, who now lives in Sweden! He was raised in quite a creative family - his mother works as an actress in the theater and his father is an artist, who’s been creating theater decorations for more than 40 years already.
Creating art was his passion from the first years of life. He studied at Art School, Art College in Ukraine and at the age of 22 he entered one of the most prestigious art schools in the world — the St. Petersburg Academy of Art.
Universities are always about rules and specific techniques and most of the time you must follow them all unconditionally. It was quite a tough period as he wanted to find his own way to paint, the art language that will be able to speak to the world about who he is and what he wants to share!
After graduation from university he just took his backpack, sketchbook, brushes and started his adventure. He traveled for almost 6 months and visited Georgia, Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Sweden, Austria and Switzerland.
This painter is a true talent of Ukrainian contemporary art, who works in abstract modern art. He thoroughly explores painting and color as an independent entity through a combination of multiple techniques. The core feature of his style of painting is the depth of his masterpieces.
His paintings are in many private collections in Dubai, Madrid, Milan, New York, Boston, Brussel, Kyiv, London, Paris, Pekin, Frankfurt, Niсe and others. This ocean painting was inspired by the sunset over the sea horizon. Imagine the last sunbeams reflected in the sea waves and light up the sky, the dark shadows are starting to appear in the waves and all nature is going to dive deeply into sleep.
